| Passed the CIW 1D0-470 Security Professional exam on Tuesday, 5/27/03.
Got a 97%.
The exam was not difficult because I really
went through the CIW Security Cert Bible. All topics were covered.
Next is CISSP. | |

| 1D0-470 covered Operating Systems, Attacks, IDS, Viriuses, firewalls, etc. The questions were pretty straight forward (not worded funny). It had a total of 60 questions and you need an overall 75% to pass with an average of 70 in the three topics.
Hope this helps. BTW, the Boson software that came with the book was pretty good although a few of the anwsers to their questions was absolutely incorrect.

| Full Title is CIW Security Professional Certification Bible. The authors are Mandy Andress and Phil Cox. The ISBN is 0-7645-4822-0 and the retail price is $59.99. I bought my copy from Ebay for $24.95. I get a lot of books from Ebay for less than 1/2 the retail price and they're in new condition.
