CIW Foundations - syllabus?

| I am studying right now for the Foundations exam using the "CIW Foundations for Dummies". I know the work very well indeed now, but when I go to do other questions on the I/net or look at other material to cross-reference, I'm finding that I have more and more work to learn - sort of like 'chasing the rainbow'...and wasting precious study time in the process!
I downloaded the CramSheet 'topics' from this site tonight and indeed THIS is what I learnt in detail...I want to feel that this is where the goal posts are for the exam.
Could someone tell me if the exam keeps to the CramSheet topics and Dummy book, or is it a case of 'tossing a coin' for the breadth of exam knowledge, - even though one has worked extremely hard?

| I read a Sybex study guide book called CIW Foundations Study Guide for my foundations and passed 1st time. Quite good as I never read at school so dreaded this exam. | |

| Well I had to buy and cross-reference with the "Bible CIW Foundations". This has put an extra month onto my study for the exam. I've had to postpone the exam. In doing so, I have learnt a lot relevent to foundation exam since. It fills in those missing gaps, but you may find the security section not as well defined as the Dummy book. The networking section in the Bible book though is VERY good. A MUST. The HTML is much more in Bible book too...
The Bible CD is good learning, although you will learn new things just doing the CD alone, as some of the answers don't come from the book at all! Strange.
CIW is badly defined. I think the best thing is simply to learn what you can and be lucky on the day - I've now got 100%s on CD, and other CDs but still find online tests demanding....got 2 weeks til exam, done 4 months and starting to get fed up with it. |
