| I am only at the start of the CIW course and am studying networking at the moment. Am I the only one who finds it difficult to learn because it is so dull? I am from a design background and find the protocols side of things very difficult. Does this course get more interesting or is it all just theory and no practical? | |

| Lot of practical knowledge is required in this. As there is theory to be understand but at the same practical is also required but nothing hard in that | |

| Thank you for you reply. What I am trying to say is that with the CIW course, there seems to be no practical work and is all theory. This can only be a bad thing. Who will want to employ a person who has only learned from books and may not even own a computer?

| I agree I am in a networking concepts and technology course and am bored to death. Thinking about taking my computer career elsewhere |
