| I've just found this forum and am curious to know what I'm in for...I've taken on a distance learning course, rightly or wrongly, for the CIW qualification with Computeach International. I'm 50 and a bit(!) looking for a change of life and am keen to get into the web design arena.( I actually may have found a niche at this time of life!) Any advice is well needed and appreciated.
I've got through to the stage 3 of the course CIW Foundation issue and ploughing on through. After this I'll be due to go to the centre for the CIW Associate exam. I'd be interested if anyone knows what form this exam takes. It's been a LONG time since I took any exams!

| Welcome to the boards MikeDF!
Don't worry so much about age, but learning as much as you can!  When you bring your skills to the table, age will be a non-factor.
Getting your first certification can make anyone nervous because like you said, "It's been a LONG time since I took any exams!"
Well, once you get that first one under your belt, you'll most likely push yourself to study more and test yourself more. Good luck! |
