Webwolf,

What did you think of the Site Designer Cert Bible? I'm taking the foundations test Friday and then I plan to start studying for the site design next. That's the book that I plan to buy. Is it any good?

All the very best in your Site Designer exam!

I am going to take it soon, too. 'was also wondering if the Site Certification Bible is good and if its sufficient to use alone.

Cheers!!!

Hey guys,

Well I cant tell you forsure yet if the Bible is good, I'll let you know after the test! I used it for the E-commerce test though, and I thought that it was great! It's not worded like the test is, so you have to think a little bit, but all of the info that you get is really accurate! Also the Boson software that you get in the back is great!
As far is the Site Design one goes, I actally came across a little gold mine at a discount book store, and I found the class books for the CIW course. The arn't the newest version but most of the info is the same, with the exception of the software. I found by reading both that the Bible really follows the class material pretty accurate. THe only thing that I think might be a little bit hard, is the chapters on Java & JavaScript. I had taken a class on 'C' programming so I didn't have much trouble following it, but it might be alittle bit confusing if you have never worked with a programming launguage before. But all in all I think that the Bible is really good. But like I said I'll give you a forsure answer on Saturday!!!

Peace Out-

Hi Webwolf,

How's the exam? Let us know your opinion of the Site Designer Certification Bible whether you found it useful in preparing for the exam. I guess many of us would like to get cheaper text but useful alternative to those Prosoft study materials...

Your frank opinion will be greatly appreciated...
