I also felt that ecommerce was the "hardest" exam - but I was fairly critical about why. I felt that the questions on this test were more subjective than on the other exams, and that the test was really struggling to place its questions into case or applied knowledge form.

I got no fewer than ten questions to the effect of "which is the easiest to implement, x, y, or z?" where, as a practitioner, I can tell you that the answer to that question would depend on a variety of conditions that were not given on the exam. Apparently, I did well guessing what information they were assuming - but I did feel that they assumed a lot on this test, whereas I felt the scenarios in Foundations and Site Design were reasonably clearly presented.

Many of the scenarios also had the form of: "You have to explain to your boss what x means. What would you tell her?" Honestly, this is just a definitional question masquerading as an applied knowledge question - they might as well just have come out and asked: "What does x mean?"

It's not that this kind of phrasing was confusing (whereas some of the "what's the easiest" questions really were confusing), it's that the prevalence of these kinds of questions suggests that either they did not think through how to test applied knowledge as well as they did in their earlier exam, or they did not think through the knowledge base they were testing sufficiently to identify types of knowledge that might arise in practice.

I found the exam frustrating - it is the only exam thus far that I disliked...

i agree!!! i really had no idea if i was going to pass or fail when i clicked "End"!! what was really frustrating was that all my practice exams were formatted differently...

if i had the time i would write my own... but oh well..

if there is anyone who is about to take this test and has any questions feel free to ask them here, while its still fresh in my mind!!!

I had the same feeling - I was scared to press that "score your test" button! ;-) It worked out well, but I don't have fond memories of the test... ;-P
