| read the study guide from examnotes and brainbuzz for CIW Security Professional, they are not easy

| Yeah - I've bought the bible too - had to order it from the US, though, so it may not be here for a bit...
To pass the time while I'm waiting for delivery, I've also been looking at materials collated for the CISSP exam - it's not a direct overlap, as the CISSP is oriented to information security, which is broader than IT security (I suspect, for example, that you can safely skip all that information about fire extinguisher types... ;-P).
Decent free material on the CISSP exam is available from the cccure.org website - in particular, they have an exhaustive security manual available at: http://www.cccure.org/Documents/HISM/ewtoc.html
I'm finding that reading it is a helpful way to get myself thinking about security issues... | |
