| after delaying to sit on the exam for 2 months, I finally took it and PASSED it today.
Not very easy exam, only managed to get 80% 
I used CIW E-Commerce Designer Certification Bible http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/A...1217842-5236737
a good guide for the exam, but I wish they covered more on Security topic.
I also used exam note that can be found on this site + the one from brainbuzz.com.
I had many questions on B2B, B2C, OBI, OTP, SSL, SET. I think the hardest questions were on the Security questions. Make sure you know the security topic well enough!!!
I was a bit upset since I had to wait for 1 hr before I could take my exam (since the person before me came late, so his exam was late also)...
well, I think I'll be having a good weekend

| btw, the CIW E-Commerce Designer Certification Bible comes with a CD that has 200+ exercise questions. They really helped to prepare you with CIW exam!!!
I'm glad I actually took a look at them 2 hrs prior to my exam. | |

| Have you looked into doing the entire Administrator track? I thought the Security books borrowed from both the Internetworking Professional and Server Admin. books. | |

| I've just finished the Master Designer sequence, and intend to do the Master Administrator sequence next. For various reasons, though, I would like to take the Administrator sequence out of order - starting with the security exam...
I didn't feel as though the Designer sequence *really* needed to be taken in order - if anything, I felt that the Site Design exam was far easier than any of the others, and would have made sense as an introductory exam.
But I wasn't sure if this would hold true for the Administrator sequence - although, given that you can take the security exam as a standalone exam to obtain the security analyst cert, you would assume you could take it out of order...
Anyone who's taken the Administrator sequence care to comment? | |

This I agree,...I think one can take Designer sequence in any order,...
in fact, I've taken my E comm designer first, then planning on taking the Site Designer
But I have a feeling that it would be better to take the Administrator track following the recommended sequence...anyone? | |

| Yes, I would recommend taking the administrator track in sequence. There is a security analyst cert that you can get just for taking that class but people who qualify for that usually have MCSE or CCNP under their belt. (here's the link about that)
Since the rest of CIW folk don't have that kind of networking background, it is advisable to take Server Admin, and Internetworking Professional, IMO. The material does seem to build on itself. | |

| to be able to call myself a security analyst... ;-) My understanding, though, is that the security analyst title is reserved for those who already have some other cert... The rest of us will have to be content with the Master Administrator title... ;-) |
