Has anyone taken these exams (as a MCSE)? What exactly are they covering? Just the differences between the MCSE and the CIW stuff or do they 'repeat' everything and add some additional stuff?!

I am trying to determine which way I am going.

Thanks!

I am actually studying for this - exam topics can be found on www.ciwcertified.com/iAccelerate/iA...comm=home&llm=1

I am not a Linux guy but noticed the Linux stuff on CIW's web site for this. Are there 2 tracks - one for Windows folks and the other one for Linux? Do you know?

Thanks!

You will need to know apache server, IPv.6 some Novell, and LINUX/UNIX commands.

Well, I guess I am in trouble then. :-) We only do Windows at work and I have no experience with Linux yet. I guess I start with the server administrator course instead of going the accelerated way.

Thanks!

So is everyone of the opinion that unless you know Linux that its useless to take this test?
