|  After passing i-Net+ I converted it into the CIW Associate exam, I then took the E-Commerce and Site Designer exams. To date they have sent me two Professional and two Master Site Designer certificates. I know it might sound silly but I'm still awaiting my associate certificate. Every time I e-mail CIW I get another certificate - the wrong one!! | |

Frank I have 2 or 3 each of the associate, professional and master certificates. Gee and now I know why people complain bout not getting thiers!!!!! | |

| They sent me another CIW Professional cert in addition to the one I received after I passed my Site Design test. I passed the E-Comm along with Foundations and yet to receive my Master CIW Design Cert. I passed the Server Admin test and they send me another CIW Professional...I don't get it...what's that e-mail address for CIW?

| just got another master ciw admin certificate with a new seal and a serial number today this makes 3 masters 3 pro and 3 associates omg!!!!! | |

| Well then, after I test for i-Net+ here, maybe I'll really get my US$49 worth and be sent a CIW Master of the Universe certificate! That would be "brilliant" (I think that's what some of you might say... sorry, I'm just an ignorant Yank).
100th post! What do I get for that?
Come on over to the i+ forum and answer my Question of the Day! I'll be posting it soon.
I'm going to go scour posts now to see what kind of materials people have used to prepare for CIW exams. I'm contemplating going further on the CIW track. If any of you want to add comments here, I'll listen! Thanks. | |

| Hey dont bother some minor details here..
I went for OOAD exam 1D0-438 and 4 college students went one week before me, 3 passed one failed. When I went It was incredible hard and I failed with 45%.
First you get the bussiness diagram situation, then you get the question, then you get a exhibit with the possible solutions diagrams that don't fit on your screen and then..... choose 1-2-3-4 or 5 answers that might be true... get it?
The exam was changed from 50 questions mutiple-choice to 55 quest mutiple-multiple-choice.Ciw even made a new studybook twice the size as the old one.
There is no guessing left you need to know it damn well.
It took me 3 months before I got my associate ..
I have the new ooad book now and a new voucher after rough complaining at CIW but need to find some time to get it into my head.

| Maybe it's an option to take non of the exams and complain about not getting a certificate...You'll likely be a Master CIW in a few weeks!
A late thought after taking 6 exams...

| That's a great idea...
I have some trouble with my ATP, maybe i should contact ciw and ask them if they think my ATP is capable of teaching ciw certified.
Anyway: what's the use of a cert if you can't get a decent job?
One never fully understands a situation until they are in it.

For a change CIW have send me my CIW Associate Cert very quickly, and their email response time is generally 2 Days.
But one thing they definitely require is the re-designing of the certs.
Lets all collectively communicate this with CIW, I am sure it will be more effective than reaching them individually. | |

I have to agree with you on the professional (don't know about associate) that they are not very good quality - but the Master Certificates are better - about 10 times better!! | |

| Since we are on the subject of communicating with CIW I did today. I told them for an internet certification why do Microsoft and Comptia have online transcripts, wallet cards, etc and they do not??? I also wonder with the advent of college classes in the internet, why they do not get evaluated so their certs are worth college credit? They may be a new kid on the block, but the way to be the best kid on the block is to be better than everyone else. | |
