| HI John
I am currently putting myself through the CIW Enterprise Developer track.
I have done the CIW JavaScript and Perl, and currently I am doing the Application Developer.
If you have any advice for this exam, it would be appreciated, as I am sure you are aware that there is soooo much content to cover ...
Let me know how you are finding the ED track, as Java is my next one. | |

Are you alone or in a classroom?
At this moment I'm in the javapart and again it is tough.
I should take exam tomorrow but I have rescheduled and think to sit the exam two weeks later.I'm trying to keep up my site along the track but time is short and my goal is to finish half jan 2002.
I'm in a 8 member class and next week OOAD starts so we are ahead of you so maybe we can help you.

| To answer your question: I am doing self study for some CIW modules, and in a class environment for other ones.
I have heard that the OOAD course is very tought - it's all about processes.
Not very "hands on" at all.
(My instructor told me that it took her 4 months to learn, so as you can imagine, I can't wait to get to that one!!)
Then again if you have made it as far as OOAD, then you would have the impetus to get the last exam over and done with ... my understanding is that CIW have not written the exams for Database Specialist nor Enterprise Developer yet. (Judging from the comments on their web site, I sure think they are under some pressure to get these exams out so that people can complete their certifications!)
Anyways, that's about all I have heard about OOAD.
If you can bounce any info back this way about the exams I previously mentioned, that would be great!
