| I am studying for the combined test of server, security and internetworking to go the accelerated route. I take my test on Saturday and wanted to see if anyone could help me with the following questions.
1.is there a good resource for finding out what the DNS files do such as: named.conf, named.ca,named.local, resolve.conf, forward zone file.
2.What logging is set by default on the apache server?
3.The steps to an SSL handshake (prosofts way). I understand the basics of this, but wanted to know how prosoft puts the steps.
4.When setting up or implementing a security plan , what is the central element? I would say testing, but testing what specifically?
5.Where can I get a better understanding of NFS security issues.
6.SNMP v1 does not use encryption? Right?
7.In Ipv6 routing I am getting confused between the terms router and stations. I have taken practice tests that say that the group membership queries, reports and reduction come from the router and some from a station, which is it?
8.What are the HTTP security risks (prosofts version)?
9.Why place and operating system, a and system files on separate partitions (prosoft version)?
10.What are the differences between RMON and SNMP?
11.What are some client server security issues (prosoft version)?
12.what types of things to do to prevent users from access mail servers?
Any help will be appreciated and then maybe I will be able to help you. I take the test Saturday so any info will help. Thank you

| Personally, I found brushing on Linux to be helpful before taking this test. There are a number of questions also related to Apache, DNS, Samba.
The test covers breadth rather than depth. |
