The first search results returns all pages that contain words "intellectual" or "property". Surely, too many results. To narrow down the search results Mary can search within her search results and use the NEAR operator. This will return only pages that contain the words "Intellectual" and "Property" within 10 words of each other. If she includes the quotation marks like this: "Intellectual property" then she will only find pages that contain the exact phrase "Intellectual property" and she will miss a lot of other relevant pages.
