I-Generation and CIW has agreed to merge their certification to create a single Certification program. I-Generation will continue to offer their certification exams until Dec. 31 of this year.

What it actually means is that I-Generation certification will no longer be available after Dec. 31, and all those currently certified under the I-Generation program will receive comparable certificates from Prosoft, the sponsor of CIW certifications.
