| My doubts
Q1 Some1 works for a large company that wants to implement a data exchange process with another large company. These two companies are especially focused on standardizing and securing the information that is sent between them. Which one of the following solutions should that person choose?
A. A solution using electronic format interchange
B. A solution using open buying on the internet
C. A solution using secure electronic transactions
D. A solution using secure sockets layer
My ans is A (not so sure)..sound likes EDI but the wording diffrent
Q2 One of the major problems that e-commerce sites face is integrating new transactional software with the legacy systems that manage inventory for the company. Which of the following is an example of a problem that results from this lack of integration?
A. A lack of personal contact between the seller and buyer in e-commerce transactions
B. Frequent outages because of hacker attacks on those e-commerce systems that are less secure than their legacy counterparts
C. Customer satisfaction issues because current inventory information may not be available

| Q1. There exist both EFI and EDI. EDI is more for trading, for example, paper manufacturer dealing with futures. EFI is generally for documents, so you are right.
Q2. Legacy systems mostly belong to the pre-Internet era, so ERP, end-to-end features are sometimes lacking, therefore C is correct. | |
