Can anyone tell me how you make a page secure in SSL? Does a programmer write the code to go to https? Not really getting into IIS, I understand that but how do you secure specific pages?

Any feedback is appreciated

Unless I am totally tripping... Which is possible due to lack of sleep and overwork lately...

The pages are the same. The protocol and transmission method encrypts. The web server needs to play to do this. Your page is still your page, same content...

Thanks Sandi,

I thought that but it is hard trying to relay that information to a non technical client. Then a issue came up with SSL and the https and I wanted to make sure.

Do you know if you can get the lock to show up once you have established https if the page that you are securing is within a frame?

Although I can click on my page and see that it has been encrypted, a lock doesn't show up and I think it is because it is within a frame. Any thoughts...........??????????

Thanks again for your help and wisdom.
