| I just passed Foundations about an hour ago. Just thought u guys out there studying for it should know, its the easiest test on the face of this planet. Well I still got one wrong but yeah..... just do a few practice tests and go fot it.
I found some of the questions on the cert21.com to be exactly the same as on the test. Yes, exactly!!!
Anyway I have booked the site designer test for next friday. So I have a week to prep for it. Have any of u guyz/galz done foundations without the course material? I am going to try it without it, because I doubt it would get to Australia by next Friday.
woooohooo I passed, I'm so happy

| Congratulations to you!!!!! | |
|
| thanx a million!!!
I'm just contemplating whether i need the prosoft material to pass the next test. I did a practice test and got 67% without reading any notes. I then got 87% on another, so I might try to just do a lot of practice tests and see how that goes....

| I'm so happy for you....
I hope I'll pass too | |

| I did the Site Designer without a net and I would recommend picking up the new courseware... There is an awesome thread from last month in here that talks about the exam...
DO NOT get overconfident!!! The Site Designer is not like the Foundations!!!
Congrats on the pass and good luck on the Site Designer!
|
| have u taken the cert21 practice exams???
For foundations thats all i used + checking out forums. There were at least 8-10 questions that were EXACTLY the same as the real exam. I mean, even the example people in the questions had the same name. I did the whole test in about 11 minutes and only got one question wrong.
I was just wondering if anyone has noticed the same thing with the site des and e-comm test.........
I think if you have been working in the industry, you still need to take a few tests for foundations and study for a few hours. But the questions were basic, especially if you have done a MCP or relevant network cert. because you will already know all of the LAN/WAN techs, etc etc

| hey ppl
just passed the site designer test with a 90%...... I have to say that SasiSan was right about not getting too confident about it. I used the cert21 exams and checked out forums and from that i knew about 40% of the questions.
I had to rely on other knowledge for the other 60% of the exam. The questions were nothing like any of the practice tests I have seen. I got the following questions:
* top-down and bottom-up (4 q's)
* object-oriented programming (5 q's)
* The exact definition of the DOM
* Only 1 question on programs (what doesn't Dreamwearver 3 support)
Other than that it didn't include many straight forward questions.... probably about 10. (ie. about schema's etc)
Anyway, I'm glad that is over!!!
You guys out there that are soon to take this exam, GOOD LUCK!!!
