| Just by the hair of my chinny chin chin... Phew!!!!!! It's over!!!!!! I didn't put much time in to preparation at all, and of course my score reflected that, however my goal was to get through the exams by the end of May so that I could begin the "real" work of applying everything without the pressure of testing, and I did it. I would have tested last week, but I was not feeling well from Wednesday thru Friday. The exam was a little tougher than I thought it would be. The best advice I offer is outline the course objectives, feel comfortable with them, take a few practice exams and review the study guides offered on the Internet, and it's a sure fire pass. I ran into a few tricky questions, but nothing too off the wall. I've crammed so much data into my brain that I'm almost feeling like Rodney Dangerfield in "Back to School". giggle
Anyway, enough of my babbling. Good luck to all who are going after this one.

| Thanks Jaywang,
I will. BTW, Congratulations to you on Javascript Fundamentals, and good luck with Perl. I look forward to moving on to the Enterprise Developer track in the future. Can't wait to see what you think about the Perl exam.

| Thanks. I will keep posting.
Heard different stories about Perl test. Some said the Prosoft manual was not enough; others said it was enough for the test. One thing is for sure. They will test our knowledge on detailed coding. They did not do that in my Javascript test. I will treat the manual as bible and use related online reference if needed.
will start training on Java2 cfrom the 18th. That is the real fun part, right?

my self havent really got the time to take the exam (nor preparing for it
did u actually use the Prosoft-books?

| Hey Bootdata, Thank you.
Yes, I did use the ProSoft books. I did not purchase any other books this time to supplement. Everything you need to pass is there. Remember the book I referenced in a prior post that was referred by a classmate? Well, he felt it presented the information on the subject a little better for understanding, and you may get that feeling from other sources, but ProSoft does provide you with what you need to pass.
Hang in there. | |

Good Luck!!! | |

| Good job there Girl
Well I have a question. Maybe a bit of demographic thing. How many of you were working in the field before getting certified or did you get certified, then find the work??
If I want to self study, then a good resource for books??
Thanks and congrats again, keep it up
