Hey guys... Here is the information on the new path. I think it is going to fit right in with what some of us have been doing without even realizing it...

Master CIW Web Site Manager

5 Exams Required:

1. Foundations or i-Net+
CIW exam 1D0-410 or 1D0-310

2. Site Designer
CIW exam 1D0-420

3. Java Script -- Web Languages
CIW Java Script Exam 1D0-435

4. Perl -- Web Languages
CIW Perl Exam 1D0-437

5. Server Administrator
CIW exam 1D0-450
* This is going to be the killer for many -- but those with that dual MCSE have a good shot!

The link to this information is at: http://www.ciwcertified.com/certifi...comm=home&llm=3

The link the moderator left just takes you to the training provider's and many of you are self-studying. I think many of you can attain this certification easily

First of all, what a GREAT learning tool this website is. Thanks.

A 16 week course close to my home prepares you for three CIW exams.
CompTIA iNet+ (IKO-001)
CIW Site Designer
(1D0-420)
E-Commerce Designer
(1D0-425)

The course is a fairly reasonable $3000 and they make it clear that it entails a lot of home study or using their facilities off hours. If I pass these exams what are the job prospects? Is $3000 overpriced? Thanks. Gavin Phillips.

ANy Designer should know Perl and Java Script anyways. Now one more test and your golden. That test just happens to be... Hey the one that helps you manage your server. That excites me, I work with too many designers who dont know the first thing about web server mgmt, or application dev. This track it going to help.
