| Ok,I have done my week of designer class and am in the studying mode. Should I pay for the practice exam on cert21 or not. I have heard it is not up to date. The cert21 foundation practice exam was a great help. | |

| I just took the demo of the exam. Here is my advice:
Pros: It is only $19.95. If it helps you with 10 questions then that can be enough to sway the results. If you are unsure of testing, not used to prepping and getting into the test mode it can help. If twenty bucks saves you from spending $125 twice than it is worth it.
Cons: It is $19.95. If you are in the testing zone, if you know the material, if you are prepped, then why spend more money then you have to. I do not think the question pool is as current as the test. It has been my opinion that the question pool changed around 1 April. No Fools ! I think that said, the only time you should see the actual test is during the test so the preparation might be enough.
I don't typically pay for the practice tests. But I am a good tester... Always have been, hopefully I always will be... That is why I have only failed 2 tests in my career... Not because of dumps or practice exams (okay -- I did use Transcenders on my first MCSE go round!)
Whatever you decide, good luck!!! If you are nervous - spend the $20. Whatever makes you calmer going into that room!

| I agree!!! If you are at all nervous about an exam I would take the practice!!!
BootData: Don't you think that some people are going crazy taking 5 practice exams and thinking that they should have seen all the questions then? I know FlyGirl wouldn't do that but it seems that others take all the practice exams, never really study and then get pissed when they fail (because they didn't see the same questions in the practice exams...)... |
