| I have been in a tossup between getting CIW certified or WOW. Are either better than the other. The objectives between the two seem to be the same. | |

| Thanks, I had never heard of them before. I agree with cboyles -- CIW is much more well know, therefore more usefull to the web master... | |

| Wow used to be one of the original sponsors of CIW program but Prosoft dropped them due to logistical issues from WOW. Wow is an organization of webmasters that you can join, kind of like a fraternity or sorority of users who support eachother with Seminars, Tips, certs, a verytight community. This is just like the IWA, However what I want to suggest to our friend is that if he/she gets CIW certs, the IWA after you join will give you IWA cert credits, kind of 2 birds with one stone, especially if you are planning on joining an organization such as WOW, or IWA.

| Hey thanks guys. The info really souds like a no brainer. CIW. I understand if you take I-Net+, you get Foundation credit as well. So now if you take the Designer exams you get credit from IWA as well. Sounds like for only taking 3 exams you can show off 6 certs. Hopefully these are valuable certs to employers.
