| Does anyone know of a web host that provides support for ASP but has a web interface to upload files?
Or alternatively, does anyone know how to setup FTP to use a CGI proxy through a normal proxy?
It may be obvious but I'm searching for a way to get around a proxy that is blocking FTP and other sites...... I have already tried Brinkster.Com but it is blocked and when I use a CGI proxy the buttons don't work on the site........

| hi ddd,
not sure why you need a web interface to upload file(s)? couldnt you do this using FTP (which is easier).
I've tried brinkster.com before, free but quite slow...
|
| coz im at work and i can't use FTP here, tried everything to get through the proxy server but to no avail.........
to get to brinkster I have to redirect my request through a CGI proxy that resides on a not blocked host..... but because im going through a redirecting proxy, the javascript functions wont work......
i have so much work to do for my other work, and have so much free time at this one, but can't get access to do other work here.....

| ddd, try looking at exabytes exabytes They have everyting you need.
I got 200mB, apache, php, mysql, cgi and an extreme webinterface. For uploading I still use WsftpPro but if you're conveniant with the webinterface use that.
They have got a good offer, I am paying $10 a month! |
