Passed the i-Net+ exam today with a 90% in 30 mins.
Two months ago i passed CIW-A, i just wanted to know the difference, because there seems nobody around who can tell.
Well, the difference between i-Net+ and CIW-A is, i-Net+ is more Basic and more concentrated om development.
CIW-A has more with design (html, scripts) and the questions are deeper.

Thanks for answering the same question I had asked previously.

I still want to know why you can get your CIWA cert if you have iNet+ but not the other way around. Surely if iNet+ is more basic then you should be able to have it issued once you have CIWA.

Just my opinion.

Congrats anyway.

I shy'd away from the CIW-A because it got into more detail (test questions) with networking (OSI, etc.)... I found myself much more familiar with the i-Net+ topics during my studies.

Amadoda,

The reason is, CompTIA is more well known than Prosoft. Prosoft is trying to get their name/certs out there on as many resumes as they can to help generate knowledge/acceptance of their certs.

The sooner CIW is accepted widely, the quicker ProSoft can make a buck.
