true worth of certifications

| I have absolutely no idea how many of you are pursuing your MCSE's, but it seems to me that on the most fundamental economic level (supply and demand), the need for this hyped-up certification will dwindle rapidly and non-2000 and 2000 MCSE's will invariably fall by the wayside.
This is where the true worth of certifications come into play. If you know that you can obtain an entry-level job with an MCSE while you continue your studies (some schools actually have companies interview students while they are in school), then you can reasonably expect to make about $35,000 starting. Otherwise, you are essentially running around like a chicken with its head cut off.
I personally believe that you should have a general focus of what you want to pursue instead of acquiring certs and spending ALOT of money. Don't make the mistake of being "paper man". | |

| humm... but if u don't even have somthing with u, u can't even get an interview u know. MCSE is a great starting point in this field I reckon.
