Just passed i-NET+ and will be faxing a copy to CIW for foundations credit. Will continue to pursue Internetworking Professional track. My questions are: Can I use CIW logo now or do I have to wait till completion of CIW P. Also will they send a certification showing that I have passed Foundations or will it be invisible like Microsofts Networking Essentials. Thanks.

| bob,
i could be wrong, but i think they only give you a certificate now after you pass 2 of the classes, like foundations and internetworking pro. i passed foundations thru e-commerce and was told i would get a cert after site design and the master cert after e-comm, not after foundations

| According to my CIW Instructor, as of two weeks ago, there is a new disgnator for those who only have foundations (or its' equivalent), CIW A. The "A" stands for Associate....
I have not yet validated this statement with CIW, but you can by e-mailing the ciw exam team.

| That's right what Dave/Cetus said:
You get a CIWA title, but of course, they'd like you to get a CIWP CIW isn't too organised yet like MCSE papers, whereby upon completion of a paper, you'd get recognised as a CIW and then they post to you your official welcome kit whereby you get your welcoming letter, what you can do with your name card, what logos and titles you can use, all that nice stuff... Well, that's what happens when you are taking the FASTEST growing Internet Certification course around!

| Bob,
I was curious too about the CIW certification for foundations after submitting a copy of my i-Net+ scoresheet too so I emailed CIW and here was their response:
"Yes. This means that you are CIW Associate certified. In order to complete your Associate certification, you'll need to fill out our certification agreement at http://www.CIWcertified.com/candida...t_agreement.asp
Thanks,
The CIW Certification Program Team"
Now we all know...
