029 is dead, must I go for 229?

| Sorry for what might be a dumb question to some . . .
A couple of years ago, I was preparing to take 70-029 but, for stupid reasons, never did. I am ready to start working on certs again. I noticed that 70-029 will be discontinued next June. I think I could pass 029 after a few weeks cramming, but should I take the time to go for 229 instead? How much difference is there really between the two?
(Note I'm pretty comfortable with XML, which I understand is part of 2000.)
Thank you for any help or advice. | |

| There's not much difference between SQL 7 and SQL 2000. Except, there's added new features for it. If the person know, how to admin SQL 2000, SQL 7 is not an issue.
I think, it's wise to go for SQL 2000 instead Version 7.
Good lucks !!! | |

| Thanks for the informed opinion. I was leaning that way anyhow, the examnotes certainly seem to stress that much is the same. | |
