Hi,
I am planning to take 70-228 exam. But I have worked on SQL server 2000 as a part of my course work. I have a very silly question. I know Oracle has a 8i and 9i version which I can install on my laptop and work. Does Microsoft has any such version of SQL Server 2000, which is free ofcourse and I can work on it.

If you purchase the Microsoft Training Kit Second Edition for exam (70-229)they supply you with a 120 day trial copy of SQL server 2000 Enterprise Edition. I'm sure there would be other books that would also supply the cd too.
If you have a broadband connection you could download it from http://www.microsoft.com/sql/evaluation/trial/ (they also have sp3 for sql)
