| But no matter how much knowledge or experience you have, a little luck never hurts. I passed today with an 866. Most of the test was about indexes (where and when to use them, what to do if they get fragmented or need to be optimized) and security. There were a lot of questions on windows vs. SQL authentication (a couple with Unix clients to try to throw you a bit). A couple on collation, a couple on transactions, and a couple on constraints. Not much on actual installation, but know your disk subsytem and how and where to place your filegroups and transaction logs. If anyone is going for this one and would like some more tips, just send me an email and I will do my best to help out. Probably take 229 in a few weeks (I'm no programmer, so it will be a decent challenge for me). Good luck to the rest of you! |
