My First Exam & it's 70-229...

| Hi All,
I'm about to take my first cert exam ever this Monday: 70-229. I have been using the MS training kit, Wrox's Professional SQL Server 2000 programming (which seems great by the way) and have the Transender materials. I'd guess my weakest areas are database tuning and some of the more obscure things like English and Full Text queries, OLAP etc. Has anyone done the exam recently? Any particular tips onw here to focus?
Any thoughts would me most appreciated.
Cheers. | |

| I just passed Friday, and although there are many tuning and performance questions- I don't recall that there were any at all dealing with English or text based query optimization.
I hope you do well! | |

| Thanks for the feedback! I'll just get back to the chapters on DTS then!

| I have been reading about the analysis services, and my books go into detail about DTS and OLAP cubes, but they barely touch English Query. What is the main advantage of using it, and when would I need it? |
