Does any one know about score for 070-229?
i took 070-228 yesterday and score show up 755.Fortunately, I passed with 866.
My friend took this exam in last 3 weeks and they just show status of PASS/FAIL.
It could be that MS exam turn back the old format.

I am currently studying for this test too. Any tips on what areas to concentrate more on? How much of the test is database coding, versus real administration (for example, how much is knowing how to write stored procedures and scripts and knowing t-sql commands, versus knowing how to backup/restore, using different versions of RAID and permissions/login rules)? Any wisdom you can share is much appreciated. Thanks

70-228 is not at all as heavy on T-SQL as 70-229. Instead, it's more about administrating - users, security, disk management, performance tuning (not heavy on database design issues; that's in 70-229)...

That is reassuring.. I am not a programmer and think that getting all the t-sql commands and syntax will be the toughest part. So I dont have to worry about that too much for a while. Good luck on your next one!

One thing tho, you need to be up to speed with the most common system stored procedures, and there will be _some_ questions with SQL code. And replication too, I almost forgot about that.

Well done QUOC

I passed 229 back in January with 772.
The passing score was 704.
There were quite a few questions involving syntax. You know those horrible ones where there are six or more answers, but four look the same at fisrt glance. Then when you study them closer there are very slight differences.
I found it a little harder than 228 which I passed with 800.
Hope this is of some help.

It will be at least another month before I try this one, but thanks for the words of wisdom!
