Author Passed 70-228

2 Down and 2 to go for MCDBA. I guess I should have started with 215 instead of 229, but at least the SQL exams are out of the way.

Anyone studying for this exam? I would recommend Transcenders. They have pulled me through 228 & 229 and I expect the same for 215 & 216.

Prometric has changed their testing format. The worst part of it is that they no longer tell you what you scored, only if you passed or failed.

Thanks for all the help everyone.

Congrats on the passes!

Best of luck with 215 & 216.

Congratulations on the pass.

It's not Prometric who changed the exam format, it's Microsoft.

Well done! Guess wha! I passed it earlier today too!

Must say, it was easier than I thought. I got about 50 points higher than the 70-229...

Congrats to you. How did you find out your score? I was told they won't let you know. Mine simply said PASS.

It said on the screen and on the 'receipt' I got. Strange they have different procedures like that, wonder why... I book with VUE, but I doubt that VUE and Prometric have different rules. Maybe they have different versions of the test software in different locations (the hardware at my test center is ancient...)

Does anybody know why they sometimes give you the score and sometimes don't?

Congrats!
Do you have any practice test for 070-228 or 070-229?
I have sefltest for 070-215 and 070-216 with more than 200 question for each.
Can we trade?

If you take the 70-215 from VUE then it has the passing core is about 651 or 660 depend on the number of question.
70-216 has not the passing core only appears the status "pass/fail".

I took 215, booked it via VUE, but the passing score on my exam was much higher.

Far as I can tell, they take the questions (fairly) randomly from a pool of questions, and all questions are weighted. So, the passing score depends on how hard the questions are considered to be.

However, the passing score won't depend on how you booked, nor should how you booked affect whether you're told about the passing score and your score.

Congrats on the pass!

But watch your back on 216. It's not for the faint of heart!
