| Good Question. As MS do not have a standard scoring system for each question, I honestly don't know how many questions you need to get right as you will get a better score for a multiple answer question than a single answer question. | |

| in transcender 70-229 demo, the score criterium is 850/1000 for passing. Is that true for the real MS test?
Did they increase the passing score since you passed it?

| I passed the 229 test today.(7 May) the passing score is 704. this was really odd for me to see given that the last several tests i've taken had only a pass or fail status.
Also, I don't have a clue about the scoring. this test has multiple choice, check all that apply, and drag and drop. How they score on the test is prob totally different than the transcenders. | |

| yes, on this test I used transcender - along with years of experience. Fortunately, the cd for this one was laying around the office so I snatched it up and loaded it on my machine. Its (transcender) questions are similar in format and length. There were some questions though that I knew from my experience working with SQL 2K.
Maybe I'm getting too old for this stuff or the tests have gotten lengthier, but by the time I got 2/3 the way thru the test I was thinking "Damn, is this test ever gonna end?"
It is said that Tuesdays are a good day to go take an exam. It probably is if you haven't worked all day.
