| I've been using the Coriolis Exam Cram series for quite a while, but have recently noticed several inaccuracies and typos. Since I've also failed my last two exam attempts, I'd like to try another series. I'm most interested in avoiding those inaccuracies. I'm also frightened by the fact that I read their 70-228 book, thought I understood the material, and scored a 600. Any suggestions?

| I'd suggest expanding your reading list and use different vendors' stuff to get a better rounded view. Maybe teaming up a "facts" book like the ExamCram series with something more broad like the Osborne books.
They all seem to have typos and minor errors -- I think these guys get rushed to press to get out timed with the final exam release, and the proofreading suffers

| Once upon a time, Exam Cram was excellent if used with a proper study guide.
Nowadays their quality has come down. A lot of typhos, a lot of inaccuracies, and importantly the material they cover is not enough.
Noadays, I do not buy an exam cram.

| Try Cramsession (www.brainbuzz.com), the only tradeoff is you need to give some personal info for free registration.
I'm now running through the sample tests, and I find myself made lots of mistakes on the ones that I don't have hands-on exp. I got taught a lesson I'd rather get my SQL7 installed and do more practices before taking the exam. |
