What were the majority of questions you were asked for 70-029? is it all sql statements?

Thank’s Kenny,
So SQL7 is fully compatible with W2K Server
Another question is : What I would do with existing NT4 server & SQL7 with some databases on it ?
If I perform upgrade install to W2K from NT, is existing SQL7 will remain on the system and running as usually ?
Or I must back up all system and user databases in SQL7, and then perform clean install of W2K, and finally install SQL, restore all databases ?
Which one is more efficient and safe ?

hi Jayjay
I am sorr for the above reply, cause I am wrong take "cut & paste" on the reply

NO, T-SQL is not the only one of Microsoft Objectives on this exam. Beside this, there are some objectives : Developing/Designing Logical Data Model, Maintaining Database, Index, Constraint, PK, FK, Data Integrity. From my point of view, Developing & Designing Logical Databases is the most difficult part

Ok, so most of your questions were not on tsql, they were also on the other topics? I read the objectives before, but I thought the exam really emphasized the tsql. What your saying is there are other questions that don't involve syntax?

Jayjay,

Yes, most of all objectives are T-SQL, but NOT only about data retrieval. If we only concern to data retrieval, we will stuck. You must take care of T-SQL and system store procedure that used for creating & managing index, constraint, and database. You must understand the basic concept and limitation of each index, constraint, PK, FK. This exam is emphasized on how and when to use each type of index, constraint, etc.
Don’t forget about developing logical data model, cause there are so many traps & controversies in this topic.
Don’t worry, on hand experience on every material, and you will passed.
