70-228 is the Admin exam : it focuses on maintaining and establishing databases from a troubleshooting point of view. 70-229 is the Implementing of Databases test : create, modify, and tune databases using SQL commands, stored procedures, views, etc. This takes a perspective from the database application developer. Both tests deal with table design - indexes, primary keys, foreign keys, normalization, and filegroups.
there are plenty of books out there to study. if you are looking for online resources, click on any of the many links on this page to take you to study sites. The 2 resources I'm big on are Exam Prep/Cram books and Transcender.
