How important is knowing XML as far as the SQL exams go, and approx. how much XML questions were in your exam. I am just curious, as I am busy preparing for these exams, and I am very new as far as XML goes, and was just wondering about it.

Also, if you could recommend any good books or resources on the internet for XML tutorials and lessons, please forward them to me, as I would really appreciate it.

if u r familiar with anatomy of html tags then XML is very easy.

but knowing & exploring each and every corner of XML is not required for the exam
when i took the exam there werer 03 questions. (total 44)
but remeber that xml is covered only in context of SQL Serever's context.

convert sql data ----> xml and vice versa

this is the main area which u must know.
check www.xml101.com for lessons / tutorials

attachement goes here. i thnink it will be sufficient.
