Which test should be taken first any ideas about books?

70-028 is general considered easier and a prerequisite to 70-029. Administering a database vs. designing a database.

Yah, I took the 28 before the 29, but supprisingly did much better on the 029. For a lot of people it's usually the opposite. Guess I'm weird like that.

Best of luck,
Brian

It depends on what your background is. I've done a significant amount of Transact-SQL programming so I assumed that -029 would be easier for me. If you've done backup and replication thing, -028 is probably a better place to start.

ALl things being equal, -028 is probably the easier - there's just much better prep material for this one.
