BOUT TIME I PASSED

| Folks,
Well the second time around, due to delays, I managed to pull off an 866. I'll have to say that this exam was harder than the other TCP/IP exam that I had taken previously. Go figure right? Nonetheless I would like to wish you all well on your quest for MCSE. All I have left is Enterprise and Proxy and I'm done with this stuff. I currently have no plans to pay another 8 Large to upgrade to the WIN2K MCSE. I am thinking of going somewhere that they don't require you to upgrade your credentials every freaking time they decide to come out with a new OS (Approx every 2 years). I'm leaning towards the Cisco route. Before anyone jumps in and says, "They require you to upgrade" I know this but there is more to be learned and more money to be made with routers than sitting at a desk changing passwords. No offense. Just my opinion. My MCSE has offered me a lot of skills in different areas but I want more hardware hands on than OS troubleshooting.
Cheers,
!~NT_Gawd~!

| Congrats!!!!
I figured you'd knock it out, and with a pretty good score too. I must say i feel like i'm ready too, but i'm going to keep my same pace i've kept up to this point. I feel you on your future endeavors. I wish you luck on your next ones. I'll send you some things that i have which should help you Knock them Out.

| Hi NT_Gawd,
Now you are TCP/IP_Gawd!!! Congrats to you on the nice pass!!! I am slugging away here at the Transcenders and wondering how am I ever going to pull this off by the end of the month!!!!
Trying to work my way through, is it DNS or WINS and DHCP etc etc is mind twisting...My eyes glaze over more on these questions than they did for Enterprise!!
Anyway, I will keep plugging along here and hope that something kicks in pretty soon or else, I may have to reevaluate the time table which I hate doing!!!
Anyway, enjoy your pass go celebrate..I'll be thinking about you while I am plugging away... | |

| All,
I would like to take the time and thank you all for your words of encouragement. As previously stated I am now working on my Enterprise exam. The material seems to be the same as the Server exam. I have noticed, which most of you will the farther you go in your MCSE track, that everything works like a well-oiled machine. In that I am receiving tongs of TCP/IP connectivity questions, permissions questions (server) etc. So it's not like the material is all-new, I am actually revisiting topics of which I have already learned for other exams. *ROCK ON* the less I have to do in the end, assuming that I am proficient in what I know now, the better. I mean a 50-hour workweek on top of school, the studying, then prac apping it, and then sitting down with practice tests is about to drive my young *** crazy. Well I am going to lay down with my enterprise book, that should put me to sleep. HAHAHA. As for Kang, I wish you well. The more you learn about WINS, DNS, FTP, PRINTING, and DHCP the better. As for sub netting, yes it is needed in the real world, but the exam is not sub netting intensive. Take care.

| Congratulations!
I had no doubt you would. There is hope for me too I guess. I agree with you each module seems to cover tha same material with a slightly different perspective. See you in Enterprise!
