Exchange or TCP/IP
| I have one elective and not sure which on Exchange or TCP/IP, any thoughts anyone? | |
| My vote would be for TCP\IP you need it for 2000 plus I'm sure it would help on the job as well. Good luck. I take TCP\IP at 2pm friday 15th.

| kchristian,
That's a hard one to call. True TCP/IP is required in Win2K, but Exchange will not be retiring soon. Also some of the principles in Exchange carry over to Win2K Active Directory Directory Services. (<- not a typo!)
| My vote would be for TCP/IP. The 4 core with IIS and TCP/IP make up the core for W2K (I understand) so background would be beneficial both in the real world and preparing for the W2K exams. Along with IIS would be proxy 2...I took that exam also as it goes with what I do

| Looks like Exchange is out, TCP/IP or IIS4 | |
| kchristian,
On second thought got to say TCP\IP. You will definitely need it to comprehend Win2k connectivity issues. You will learn a lot of IIS (version 5.0) in Win2k. Hope this helps you decide.

If you're not part of the solution, you're just another part of the problem.
