| How much of the exam is on supernetting and DNS/WINS integration?
Would appreciate any help!
Thanks,
Heather | |

| DNS/WINS integration - enough to keep you on your toes. Make sure you have a good handle on that material.
Supernetting - minimal, you might get one question. I did not get any.
And if I remember right, I got only 2 or 3 on subnetting, which kinda ticked me off because I studied my butt off for subnetting.
Well, that was my TCP/IP experience anyway.... hope this helps.
Good Luck!

| you should know subnetting no matter what for the real world anyway, so do spend the time necessary for it to become second nature!

| I had the same question about supernetting... I can subnet all day long, but the supernetting really throws me for a loop!
Taking my test today at 5:00! Think good thoughts for me! Thanks for all of the input here, it's made the difference for me!

| Thanks Shard! I have the same problem as Laura. I can subnet all day but the books I have read (ex. new riders) only had a small paragraph on supernetting and really didn't explain it very well. The article really helped!
Laura, good luck on the exam, I write mine on Thursday!
