| Please note that the +I certifications will be retired at the end of 2001 and will not be upgradeable to Win2K status... just figured I would mention that

| That is true but for myself I plan to do the upgrade exam only. At which point I will stop pursuing anything in Microsoft. I am just a little tired of their games. From talking to my clients very few are even upgrading their desktops and none has thought of upgrading their servers. So until I see its actual use in the market I can't justify wasting time to get fully certified in Windows 2K.
I see much more need for Cisco and Unix so come January that will be my focus. I have already done some Novell so I will brush up on that too.
I realize that this is diversified but that is exactly why it is my goal.
Gotta go hit IIS,

| not a bad plan. As an MCT, if I don't upgrade, I can't teach it I also want to go into Cisco and Unix more, but I do enjoy Microsoft products, so it is not too bad for me...

| Freak:
I understand, but me I am too new to this. So I don't want to get locked in. I will study 2K but not pursue certification unless $$$ suddenly comes my way next year.
For you it makes perfect sense. It is necessary for you to keep your certifications current.
Ciao,
