| i am so glad this test is over with. really though i thought the test was much easier than i expected, based on peoples comments on the exam, of course i studied for 6 days straight, at least 3 hrs each day. Transcenders were a BIG help, as well as petri's practice tests. i wish all the best on taking TCP/IP. | |

| thanks all.
i was scared of this exam as well, due to comments i had read on the discussion boards, but really it wasn't that bad at all. i used one braindump (supaneta) found at http://209.207.167.177/70-59/supaneta.html. this braindump is the exact questions taken from the new transcenders on cd-rom, which i also used. after comparing the braindump with the transcenders the only difference between the two were the names of the ones administering or failing to connect, ect. ex: the braindump may say henry was.... and the transcenders would say tracy was.... the other thing different between the two were that the braindump did not have the pictures or exhibits for the questions, but the transcenders did which proved to be very useful in deriving the correct answer (obviously). i went thru the 3 exams a few times until i knew the answers up side down and all around. first, however, i used the 15 practice tests that petri has available. after going thru these tests and then going thru the transcenders i felt i had a very good grasp on tcp/ip. i actually had several questions directly from the transcenders. i felt that reviewing these practice test questions and definitely reading the book truly helped me in getting the passing score. i forgot the web site address for petri practice tests. i will try to find it and post it. thanks again and i wish you all the very best on your upcoming exams. sorry for the lengthy response. | |

they were very similar to the new transcenders on cd-rom and both, that is petri and transcenders gives the reasons why the answers are as such and sometimes why the others are incorrect. reviewing the responses to the questions were a great help and very good study aid. well 5 down and 1 to go. i see a glimmer of light. off to study IIS. | |

| i just tried typing the web site address i gave for supaneta and got a "page not found". however, if you go to http://209.207.167.177/ and choose exam 70-059, a list of individuals braindumps will come up, look for supaneta (9/99), click on it and then just print out the page. sorry about the previous reply. doing it this way will work. if you can get the transcenders though, use them instead, because the transcenders have the diagrams which goes with the questions. but there really aren't that many questions with diagrams, so your choice. |
