Well people...just got back from the test centre with a 900/1000...which now makes me an MCSE. I wrote IIS 2 weeks ago (890/1000).

Thanks everybody for all the tips and info. This is a great site!

Not sure where I'm going from here other than the nearest pub to celebrate...maybe W2K or CCNA???

Good luck to all those left to write!!!

Never doubted that for a second! Well deserved I am sure.

I know it was hard work for you, with so much going on.

So did you ddecide what to study next?

Personally I may take a break from Microsoft and do CCNA then do the upgrade.

Peace and well wishes,

I used ExamCram, Cousin Larry & Ama dumps. I've heard that Microsoft is changing the question pool so the dumps are becoming outdated. About 1/2 my questions were on the dumps (re-worded) but the other's weren't. I had 2 subnetting, 3 scenerios, 2 drag and drops, and a lot of Wins, DHCP, DNS. I think that I had a fairly easy exam in comparison to other's that have posted (I only took 20 mins to complete)...plus I studied my butt off.

Yea, I was looking at the CCNA and it seemed to resemble a lot of what was taken in the MCSE...especially Net Essentials. I may just do that before Christmas and look into W2K in the new year. Somewhere along the line I would like to take a basic Unix course too.

So much education...such little time and money!!!!

When do you write yours - let me know how you do - good luck

The other interesting thing would be to upgrade your MCSE now and be one of the first guys w/ a Win2K cert. Big money there

I'd love to upgrade right now but I also need to take my new MCSE out for a spin. I was in the finance industry but got laid off. I decided to go back to school and do something different and what I like. The only problem now is up here in the "Great White North", nobody wants an entry level tech "Call us back in a year!". Oh well, a minor set back I guess...but as soon as I get back to work, I'll definitely be prusuing that avenue! In the mean-time, I'll just be reading for fun!
