| Just passed Net Ess today (966). Two to go!!.
To answer your question... It depends on your current knowledge of networking. I used the microsoft self-paced kit (got it when I signed up for bulk MSCE training). I used it as a general reference. However I also used a Sybex Exam Notes book (which highlighted all that you'd need to know). I also used Troytech (which others have posted in the discussion) - really helped me focus my studies.
I do have many years networking experience but I still had to learn the "microsoft" way of doing things.
Hope this helps ... also recommend the "MCSE Six Pack" IDG books ... depends how far you are through your MCSE as to whether you'll get value for money... but this is very focussed on exam objectives and covers all 6 exams ... better value than Troytech and very much on the mark - they have "reverse engineered" the questions. | |
