| Well, in an effort to take this test and get the core 4 over with I went on Friday at 8am to a testing center that allows walk-ins/same day testing. They were not open yet, so I called Prometric to schedule for the first slot that they had open. The nice lady on the other end of the telephone informed me that they are no longer doing same day testing, until 12/22, that is. SO, knowing that I had plans to go out on Friday night I reluctantly made an appointment for 12:45pm on Saturday. I got to the test center early, took the test, passed, and was out of there before my test was even supposed to start!
In a nutshell, I PASSED!! Core 4 gone! On to Exchange. Class starts tomorrow! 
Thanks everyone for your help. At least now some of the pressure is off. I have beaten the 12/31 deadline for retiring exams. PHEW!!
