| Yes, 95% of the people will say that 70-218 is one of the "easier" exams. I found it to be fairly straight forward with nothing too tricky. | |

| Whether it's easy or not really depends on whether you know your stuff or not. If you have enough hands-on, know all the features of the OS, know how to troubleshoot problems the Microsoft way, know how to make things work together, then all the exams are easy.
Otherwise, all the exams are difficult.
There are people who can pass 216 (which is deemed to be the toughest) in one go. There are also people who need to try 3 or more times before succeed in 210. So, what say you? Which exam is difficult and which is not?

| I agree with anthonie. An exams difficulty level is dependent upon the individual taking the exam.
The 218 is a straight forward exam, but you need to know how to troubleshoot. It covers material from all 4 core exams and can be quite challenging with the questions being rather long winded.

| the conception that 218 is easy may come from the fact, that is most cases when people come to do it, they have already passed 210 and 215 which contain much of what 218 is all about. | |

| The are no "easy" Microsoft exams. If they were easy, everyone would be MCSE+I+SB+Security NT/2000/2003 | |

| I took 218 and thought it to be pretty straight foward too. Some of the answer choices were kind of lame but if you didn't do well on the core exams then it might be considered hard. | |

Thanks guys this is the next test i need to take and i am using VMware to set things up and play with them, works very well and i think the Windows XP is the easiest so far for me, i have been using it for around a year so that helps, its the primary OS i use at home and that helps, i read the windows 2000 pro book and did not sink well so i took the Windows XP exam instead, to each is own |
