Hello,

I am having a problem with IIS 5.
I am trying to set up a in house test site for a website we have. The problem is whenever I try to start the web or any of the built in default sites I recieve the following error message.

quote:
The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.

Any ideas?

Thanks

A number of services have "dependencies" that they rely on. Make sure that these dependencies have all started or have not been mistakenly disabled.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

I'll look into that.

A lot of free lab practices and articles are available at www.certsbraindumps.com for IIS5.

I just checked and the 2 serivices that IIS depends on are currently running and are set to automatic startup.
