I encounter a very difficutl Q from my friend.

He is working on MCSA 2000, which easy to upgrade to MCSA 2003 by one exam.

Eventually, he will goto MCSE 2000, but how to MCSA 2003(upgrade) to goto MCSE 2003?

If you took the MCSA 2000 to MCSA 2003, only one exam. When you look at the requirement on MCSE 2003. The exam courses are different.

So, he asked what shall he do.

I checked the MS site. I am lose. So, anyone call tell me. .. What is the best thing to do?

We know that the Official guidebook not out until April for MCSE 2003. We know MCSA and MCSE 2000 still go

Anyone.. I don't know how to answer my friend Q!!

Thanks

Since the beta of the new Windows Server 2003 exams are expected to be out by June, I'd suggest he take the following path:

Complete MCSA 2000 -> Do few more exams to get MCSE 2000 -> Do 2 upgrade exams to get both MCSA 2003 and MCSE 2003

It will take him longer period if he'd like to get MCSA 2003 before getting any MCSE.

Just a suggestion for you to consider. Cheers and good luck!

i agree with anthonie.
Finish the Mcse 2000, then take 70-292 and 70-293 to upgrade bothMCSA and MCSE to 2003.
and tell him to join this Board.
