please help:in win 98 we had msconfig for changing startup programs.how we do this in win 2k pro?

I have never done it, but i believe you can copy the msconfig from the Windows98 CD and it will work for Windows2000.
Try it and let us know.

Otherwise, you may want to go to your Controlpanel/administrative tools/services and see, which one you like to turn off.

Yes you can copy msconfig from Windows 98 and it works..it will give a few errors about autoexec.bat and config.sys. It is easier to use msconfig from an XP box if you can. Also Tweak UI can do alot more than msconfig.
