Have you though about taking 70-244 (Maintaining and Supporting Windows NT 4). It would probally be an easy elective for you.

Have you read the MCSE Requirement at http://www.microsoft.com/traincert/...equirements.asp !?

there are some NT4 electives which will count in W2K MCSE. (Proxy 2.0, Exchange 5.5, SQL Server 7.0 to name 3)

You have to make a decision on what will benefit you more, getting two NT4 electives to finish an MCSE in NT4 and then do the core W2K, or do the core W2K followed by the appropriate electives.

Not sure if W2k Electives will count for NT4.

I thought it was NOT possible to get the NT4 MCSE - so to get this straight - can I do 2 NT4 electives and still get NT4 MCSE ??

have a look at this link, then click on an elective exam and it will then show you what accreditations it will apply to. looking at this it looks like you can still get the NT4 MCSE as long as you have the 4 core exams which are now not available.

Thanks - theres conflicting information that is not clear - it says if you took the exams by Feb 28 2001 you remain certified - doesnt really state whether or not you can still get the cert by taking the 2 electives...

Anyone wanna clear this up please ??
